I believe the poster is correct in respect of his comment re the 1997 Melbourne Cup. If winning by a nose (offical margin) constitutes a nostril then I’d say his research was sound & informed enough. Might & Power had a significant lead at the clock tower & held on to narrowly beat the fast finish of Doreimus(sp?). His research is slightly more compelling than that behind your increasingly unfunny one liners.
