i see the web bots also predicted that October 7, 2008 was going to be worse than 9/11, (which they also apparently predicted by saying that "a life altering event is going to happen in the next 3 months").

as for the mayan calender, nobody ever mentions that our own calender ends mysteriously on the 31st of December, and yet somehow, the 1st of January mysteriously keeps coming back, with little more than a hangover as consequence.


i must admit, being a bit of a closet fan of blockbuster epics, i am looking forward to Roland Emmerich's take on the subject. That guy sure is a one trick pony
