thanks. however given that AFG has not provided any earnings guidance at the annual report, AGM or EGM, I would have thought it unlikely they will do so for the iInterim results in February.

my reading is that the directors will not release earnings forecasts when the debt markets are unstable, which is probably reasonable. next august, when the annual report is out, we might get some reasonable guidance, but in february i guess it will be the same as last year, which is just the report.

i re-read everything i could get my hands on, on this company, over the last few days, and i am still very positive about its prospects, despite seething over the rubicon debacle. if they can continue to offload their assets into funds, as per this mornings announcement, they can very rapidly improve their debt position and head towards a rapid re-rating. lets hope for a good 2008!
