Cash flow statement is cash in and cash out. If you repay debt by issuing equity then no cash goes out. If the debt is on an operating level eg a creditor, then the cash out impact wont be reflected on an operating level on the cash flow statement.

If the debt was borrowings and was paid out, then it would be reflected in cash flows from investing activities section.

Im not trying to be negative, but just wary as to how we suddenly have a big turnaround on an operating level.

As note before and as a general comment, if you can can stretch out and pay a big lot of bills in Jan 03 (cash out) then it helps the Dec 02 cashflow statement.
