In the quarterly report LAT has revealed two aspects of Paron that we did not previously know.
Firstly, they say that the scarp resulted from the bottom section falling. I thought before that the top section containing the scarp had risen. That tells me, given that there would have to have been displacement to enable the fall, that the down faulted extension will not be that deep....maybe only 60-80 metres from surface. That should enhance the economics of any discovery.
Secondly they state that elevated grades have previously been encountereed in a location that they postulate may be part of the porphyry source.
The risk of the proposed drilling program is much less than I previously thought.
