Vince - "Confirmation Bias" is the tendancy of investors to only "see" information that accords with their own pre-existing views. The tendancy to subconciously look through the parts that are at odds with what you "want" to see.
Google it for a better a definition.
As for why the need to try to "help" investors see the facts does not apply any more?? I just thought that the IER was so brutally honest that even the most rose-tinted of readers would see the facts.
In fact I don't know if i was correct in this view. It could be that there are some who are thinking "maybe it has all turned around since 31 March!"
oh well, at least I /we tried.
