Augment - great post. The fact that they are looking at regional sales means they can now extract the best value deals from each product. Nicks presentation was very well done and he filled in a lot of gaps that those viewing the presentation on line would have missed. One thing that I settled on was that the deals would most likely include a double digit royalty (12 to 13%) which is HUGE.
This is what will propel us into the future.
We now have two more deals mooted to join the current two by the end of CY 2015. Bloody impressive stuff. Why people would be selling now is anyone's guess.
The demeanor of the board is the thing that I picked up on - they are so composed, relaxed and confident in the companies progress, hell they were even having fun.
I also took some time to speak with the CEO of WCS. He is very pleased with the St John Ambulance deal. This he believes could add millions to the turnover. After talking to him it became very clear that the size of the upside of this business is substantial.
Augment has covered the facts of the meeting very well and I have little to add to that.
I discussed the patents with Nick Wolf and it appears we are in the box seat as in some markets they prevent any competition using water or oil based sprays such as ours.
When asked at the meeting whether we do have any competition Steve was quite confident in his suggestion that we are considered number one in oral mucosa.
Given we have so many pharmas prepaid to talk to us I have confidence in the fact our IP is commercially saleable.
All in all a great meeting - no hype but rather factually based statements and an implied sense of progress that makes one feel we are on the ground floor of something big.
They also suggested that the stiffy spray with the new absorption enhancers works quicker than the tablet - now that is big news.
The talk also centered around the possible collaboration with others who wanted us to formulate their drugs into an oral mucosa delivery on either an outright sale basis or a JV where we provided our input in kind (the laboratory and staff while the partner supplies the money)
So you see there is much to like about our little SUDA and as time rolls by I think things will become clearer.
If my post in not flowing please forgive me as I have been up since 4.20am so as to make the meeting and it is now 9pm and I am buggered
As always do your own research but I like SUDA a LOT
