I think you are right Fish. I'd be very wary of this movement on no news. The VW news is notable, but I don't think explains what we are witnessing.

Back in October the share price rallied on no news, PRIOR to the news that MB had filed class action.There were rumours circulating the media prior to the company announcement, but even then, why would punters buy the stock if they were expected CA announcement. An example of manipulation IMO.

I want to believe there is something good behind this, but not yet convinced.
