Recently Jim Cramer has been permitted substantial air time on CNN where in he describes how he uses the media to misinform the public who want to make money on **promotion blocked** in the the USA.
Its not just illegal, its downright immoral and deceptive behaviour which the regulators who permit the use of broadcasters to use the special privilege of operating under a government licence should takeaway the CNN broadcasting licence who in my opinion are permitting aiding and abetting such bad and highly misleading behaviour by joking about it and letting this thief continue to have air time on a continuous basis.
Who owns CNN ? If viewers complain to the regulators of both **promotion blocked**s, the issuers of the broadcasting licences and the advertisers then we might see some action to reduce this type of all-around misbehaviour.. It will never be eradicated but may be reduced somewhat. Problem is we the viewers are greedy and hungry to be in the belief that we can make easy money and people like Cramer know it and uses that greed to make money for his funds.
I am of the opinion that its happening in Australia too but operators are much more careful. Look more carefully at the buy and selling disclosed in ASX Announcements when companies advise the have become or no longer substantial holders of stock. If you could replay all the advice and opinion pieces in te media hitting the market at that time it might be very interesting, problem is we forget or cant be bothered recording it in a useful manner so we can learn what might be really going on.
There [are] would appear to be liquidity benefits which comes with these operator but they are also lending stock to shorters and attempting to manipulate general stock perceptions on a daily basis with their buying and selling trading activities. The advantages are they providing liquidity , but the disadvantages are the sellers or buyers of stock don't really know what is really going on and why should we if it was a true free market..lol We could debate this topic for several years.
