I know many on this bord don't like these examples but i think they are very relevant. It took Amazone 12 years to return to its 2000 Level. it is souring now but that is because of its AI. Look at sales and earnings for AMZN SWS division that is where the AI is. Banks are just getting back to their 2008 level. Old people like me are slow to jump in to things like DOT com. Banks, Green, and now AI It is mainly newer investors that are far more adventurous. Once they move on they take a long time to come back if they were hurt. Once the crash is over it will be us old F**** that go back in for nice steady gain. Just my observations over 60 years of investing. Also remembering painfully clearly some of my mistakes in past.

I did get into Dot Com Greem and AI. I am now out of AI recently. I was out of Dot Com and Green at about 60% of their peeks. For me it is far better to get out early than try to predict top. Biggest problem is you never know if something is a top or just a short term dip so you tend to stay in. Then you start saying it has to come back which seldom happens.
