The Kalgoorlie site separates the phosphate and Thorium for either use as fertiliser or for permanent storage. As you chose not to disclose the Pensa products emission rate I'd suggest it is above 10 becquerels. Lynas emits 6 becquerels. The former Malaysian governments directive is to allow no more than 1 becquerels to be imported into Malaysia which met the old standards, those standards were the most restrictive in the world. Malaysia has since the fall of the previous government modified their standard and bought it into alignment with world standards which is 10 becquerels. Lynas is hopeful that the current government will raise the former governments directive.
