To answer your question, any form of oscillator eg stochastics, stochrsi, rsi, cci etc can be used esp. if you optimise it for the particular stock for your required parameter eg profits, low drawdowns etc, and force prices to move within 0 to 100%. I use a modified double stochastics in the chart posted.
