(i posted this a few minutes ago, but believe it deserves a new thread title due to its significance)
i have received a response from the associate to Justice Corboy, as follows:
"Dear Mr XXXXX,
Thank you for your email below.
Justice Corboy did hear the substantive proceedings in the above matter in December 2010 however, the decision has not been published yet.
It is difficult to give an indication of when the judgment will be ready given his Honour's other commitments but I would estimate some time in May.
If you have any other queries please contact me.

so there we have it - we should expect a decision to be returned in the litigation "some time in May".
i do hope the company has made the same inquiries i have, and are also aware of this tentative 'date' (May), and that the company was aware of this prior to the last announcements indicating when agreements should be signed.
