So you buy your entitlement at .25c per share and receive a free attaching Option for each share you purchase.
The Options will be able to be traded on ASX, but you can simply hang onto the Option and then at a time of your choosing, or 1 June 2022 (whichever comes first), 'buy' the option out at the exercise price of 0.50c per option.
The benefit of the Options being tradable is that, if you wish, you can sell the Options via your broker platform and 'cash them out'. However, as a general rule, as the heads price (the DYL share price) increases to 0.50c, the Options then come 'into play' and you will see trading on the Options, hopefully which results in a price increase for the Options.
