    If we check on historical graphs,

    2 years ago (2007) ~ Dec had gunns in the mid to high $3 mark, peaking at $3.90, finishing at $3.64 for that year (31 Dec 2007).

    Last time gns was in this low rate band currently experiencing, we need to see as far back as Sept 2001 !!!

    Then the Highest rate I see is $4.73 31 Dec 2004.

    Now for the exciting bit, imo - please correct me if i'm incorrect - at this point in gunns 'life',
    not certain that we've EVER had such a positive growth prospect - 'BlueSky' with mill proceeding;
    turnover should reach new highs;
    earnings should reach new highs (with all these new businesses since the Auspine deal + latest);
    land / forest ownership or rights to more forest for processing, and influence of sale, has never been higher;
    Gvt may be pushing for further forestry recycling to help capture our carbon emmission (see gunns report on what this entails) - encouraging mis scheme growth - imo.

    Just a few of the aspects for the potential revamp in gunns cap value!
    You may see us reach former highs ~ in next 18 - 24 mths!
    d.y.o.r.

    Cheers :)
