people talk a lot about how much acreage some company has
Im no expert but I would think acreage is a combination of quality/productivity, quantity and beneficial/working interest, not just quantity
TXN probably isnt the next AUT for some time, it has too high a working interest right now which means high expenditure on horizontal wells will hamper progress
fortunately one can drill a cheap vertical to at least have an idea of what lies beneath
