Jake you are correct that is what happens I use de-consolidation as it was the opposite to what we did.
Deconsolidation describes a market that had once consolidated to a few companies now experiencing growth either through companies' fractioning or new companies formed in response to a more diverse and growing market. Deconsolidation also refers to the termination of a consolidated group, allowing the members to function as independent entities (companies) once again. Deconsolidation is also a shipping term in which a consolidated (container) shipment is broken down into its individual orders for shipment.
