Doo doo de dum doo wah... the Longboarder here with you on the radio for another evening of blasts from the past, playing the tunes that meant a lot when we were young enough to get up on the floor to sweat out the VB in some vain hope that it looked like dancing. I'd like to suggest our records this week can be a dedication to the ones we love. Maybe to friends no longer with us or those who have fought the hard fight to overcome adversity. Listeners, please dedicate songs and offer your reason for the dedication. Politics proposes to be about people yet it is devoid of humanity. Let's move politics from the front page of our radio and replace it with real stories about people. Our first tune of the night is dedicated to a daughter of a great friend of mine. She fought leukemia as a kiddie and she's still going strong as a young teen. Who needs role models of skinny models when there are real life people who inspire. Here are the Turtles.
