there’s no way Deelands would have offered shorts $1.50 … it’s a good deal for shorts to exit at current price or maybe a bit above if still on green and it’s a great deal if Deelands could broker a deal at that level or even a bit better if required .

Original source brokers calling a return on shorts due to an offering at current or a bit above SP would be a good deal for all those parties; would also take the heat out of source brokers.

Shortman data is a few days old I.e it doesn’t clock over every day ; will be interesting to see if next week reduces another chunk .ETFs would be another potential Avenue to helping shorts close out ; there’s 138m from memory from ETFs which need to be sold ; shorts and ETF are one of the most likely exchanges to be made when opening ; but some early broker deals could be made here ; real shorters would probable be getting a bit worried as larger fish get out of the tank
