AMP SP has been firm, indicating people see value at this point, and on that basis, when RC dust settles (and it always does) it will grow in price and maintain and grow the dividends.
3 big banks dumping their wealth management divisions, will throw lot of good people into the market some will become available to AMP and allow dregs to fade into obscurity.
AMP's product mix is pretty complete. Union Super is a trainwreck unfolding. People lack financial literacy, not going to change that overnight, if at all, so meanwhile I see ongoing strong case for AMP business.
Westpac and AMP will do well from this shakeup.
There always was a business case for integrated financial services and banking. Some new disciplines and processes and we are good to go.
I expect AMP $5 within next 12 mos, or at least outperform the banking sector
