Fact;

400ppm atmospheric carbon is considered the greenhouse point of no return...( currently running in the high 300's )

At the projected rates of fossil fuel consumption, atmospheric carbon will be 450ppm in 21 years time (2030)

At 450ppm the mean temp increase will be 6 degrees c.

2/3RDS of this increase will be due to coal burning for power production.


When Melbourne takes on the patina of Coober Pedi, will the Vic Govt take precautionary measures to roll back brown coal power production ?
