Good news comes when good news comes! Not reporting bad news as it comes to hand does nothing for market sentiment.
BHP have a number of wells in the area to drill and I feel confident they will drill Sc55.
However, it may not be in the short term and IF the market was informed when the contract was cancelled the negative impact may not have been so great!
SC55 is a great prospect and I do not think an extention to the drilling time frame would be out of the question by DOE.
Hopefully, Sc55 is drilled before August 2012, but at this stage it does not look good!
