Grizzle1: Tend to agree that the MAJORS are normally shy in committing to new areas until they have become de-risked. But (JIMHO) the first two HRT drills have to a certain extent "de-risked" the Walvis Basin.
AND: For a MAJOR they could get in (farm-in) now very cheaply indeed.
Unlikely, I do know - but not impossible.
As I did mention on the PCL thread: Normally FAR and PCL have about the same kind of market cap. And PCL is lagging a bit in this respect at the moment. So this may be the simple explanation. Time will tell.
Personally, I am pleased to be holding both FAR and PCL.
