    Yes, but I wouldn't call elite sport a normal workplace. On the field you're allowed to do things that in a workplace would be considered criminal (physical assault, tackling, pushing, shoving, swearing). It's not just the skill that attracts viewers to elite sport, it's the toughness - mental and physical.

    I remember watching Jack Watts play one of his first few games against Collingwood. The magpie players surrounded him like common street thugs because they knew that whilst Watts was highly talented, he was cut from a different cloth (well spoken, well mannered, private school education). And the thugs won that battle. What was worse is that Watts' team mates didn't come to back him up, but that's an aside. I felt a bit sorry for Watts, as I did Petty. Seemed unfair. But what I'm really saying is that there's mutiple levels of training required, other than the physical skill. And the clubs don't seem to do that.
