It seems simple.

Don't buy shares in speccy companies if you are not prepared to take a loss. How many times do we read on this site "XXX is going through the roof" or some such drivel. Only buy shares if you have done your research on the company and understand that small caps sometimes result in a big price increase but many don't.

Comment on a company's progress but don't call any officers of the comany "liars" or any such derogatory term.

Accept responsibility for your own decisions and if you don't like the way a company is progressing sell the shares even if you take a loss and put the money into something that YOU think has better prospects.
