yes, the "truth" of the matter is that more crooks benifit from the "criminal justice system" than comparitively decent folk. in fact, scumbags at the lower end of the financial spectrum, provide an excuse for the govt to print money to pay lawers to defend their "clients" often obviously guilty cases, via long-winded rhetoric, that can drag on for weeks or months. this process (amongst other things) indirectly dilutes your capital the rich get richer and the poor get poorer (not to mention more desperate)
