The houses themselves have to meet certain criteria most have to be modern ie;4 0r 3x bedroom 2x bathroom double carport and aircon etc same sort of thing for units 2xbed+2 bathrooms. Yes the yeild can look good but need's to be in a area with prospects of capital growth which alot of defence bases arn't located unfortunately. You can lease them to DHA for up to 10 years with a further 3 years negotiable after the initial 10 years. After a 10 year lease DHA contracts people to recarpet and paint the place for free. At least the rent is guaranteed even if the place isnt tennanted.
