The SP is in the toilet because AL does not keep his promises and does nothing to defend the share price from an investor relations point of view. To be a successful MD you need to be able walk and chew gum at the same time.
I am also now very gun shy of listed companies where the SP has been in the toilet for too long. These companies then suddenly get low ball takeover offers, recent shareholders jump at the chance to make a small profit and long term holders get screwed for being patient and trusting of management. Current example is Mayne Pharma.
