my take is that buying is due to anticipation of news coming from the AGM on Monday. however, as we all know, price sensitive annoucements won't be made at the AGM. This happened last year as well.. and of course with the "perilously close" comments.. which we definetely won't get from Geoff this year. i am sure he will be more circumspect with his commentary this year.
interesting post market auction. ado will defy volatile markets at least till the AGM i believe.
