Just doing some research and realised that the deficit in 2011 was $47.7 billion.
It is now at $19billion.
That is a reduction of 40%.
How is that being seen as a bad thing when the government has been reducing the deficit?
Sure they didn't get back to surplus but that was a long ask when your deficit is 47billion approx 2 years ago.
