I believe it does, but don't believe in the manipulation conspiracy theories. Markets are a price discovery mechanism. Conspiracy theories about manipulation are a simplistic way of viewing the world; investors on this forum seem to have a great need to blame the boogy man when their investments go the wrong way. When investments do go their way they tend to gloat and espouse what geniuses they are.

I have rarely seen such strong one sided opinions and self appointed gurus before.
