Doctor Geoff Cumming

Geoff has over 20 years experience in the healthcare and biotechnology market. Geoffs roles have progressed from pure research to sales and marketing roles through to Managing Director level and Board seats.

Previously Managing Director of Roche Diagnostic Systems Oceania Regional, where he transformed a loss making business to one achieving over 30% annual compound growth over a four year period and the highest profitability levels in Roches global organisation. Currently he is the CEO of Biosceptre International, an Australian based biotechnology company commercialising a range of products for cancer diagnosis and treatment. During his tenure he has been responsible for taking research from Sydney University through to market. This has involved capital raising, managing Intellectual Property, investor relations and forging links with relevant international partners. In recent times the company has formed a Joint Venture with an ASX listed company to gain access to a world leading technology.

He is a Doctor of Philosophy in Biochemistry with an MBA from MGSM and brings a rich blend of commercial experience and a proven track record in delivering results on a global scale.

Geoff is a keen sportsman having successfully completed the 210km Around the Bay cycle ride in Melbourne and several Hawkesbury Classics which is a 111km kayak race.
