it is a shame, because all those thousands of ordinary people who were doing what was considered to be the right thing by investing long term in so called solid companies, ie the banks for one,have seen their wealth destroyed from pre gfc days, and they have no control as the market is dominated and controlled by the very big end of town with their super fast trading methods, shorting and longing and other casino type systems, to make money whether prices are up or down. the ordinary invester has no hope .the stock market is no longer a reputable place to buy and sell shares based on fundamentles, its a casino. every time i see those clowns ringing the bell and clapping at wall street, i want to puke. there i feel better now, ime not elequent with words , but i think a lot of others probably feel the same. lets hope sanity returns and more reputable system prevails sooner than later. sentiment , hold, no choice.
