    Hi BG, in this issue they didn't say much about the UK on its own, they were really looking at world markets. The Financial Times normally has a pretty broad outlook, covering markets internationally and especially Europe.

    Even though I can't put my finger on anything new that was revealed, it was interesting to see a good coverage and so prominent.

    They did a "focus" story on Japan and how people behave in a deflationary environment. Talked about how the government eased up on the money supply which should incite spending, but instead people held onto the money, stuffed it under the mattress etc.

    Also was another article, from an economics study point of view, on causes and impacts of deflation.
