I'm surprised how few people have looked at the latest Benitec publicity videos. There is some really good information in them.

Prof Geoff McCaughan is the head of the biggest liver transplant group in Australia.

Some of the info he gave:
- 1% of pop HepC infected
- HepC a leading cause of need for liver transplant
- wide scale single-shot injections are very possible, a challenge for the health system, but a welcome one ..
- current treatments 60-70% effective
- emerging treatments 90% effective, pill must be taken every day.

Good to see these videos up. I wonder what else Benitec's publicity folks are planning.
