    You do ask the question that I've started to think more about.

    Not who would, but who could!?

    A bidding war would be great, but are there really 2-3 big players who could afford a seat at the table?

    Newmont and Barrick are by far the largest two players, and they've each got about $5bn USD cash positions, and about equal debt. I'd suggest that selling DEG to these guys on a cash only transaction is unlikely... It's just too much cash!

    so therefore any takeover must surely be shares or cash and shares. That opens up possibilities a bit more, and allows for more chance of a bidding war, but I do feel we might be nearing the point where we just get too expensive to take over, certainly if there's other Hemi 2.0+ found before an MRE
