There is a short list of companies that could pay cash only and a longer list of companies that could make a cash and scrip offer or an all scrip offer. The top four on this list could do an all cash offer. Bear in mind that the market cap for De Grey is already A$ 2.1 billion at A$1.60 so A$8 a share is almost A$10 billion. If the ore body is shown to extend down to 1,000 meters or if another Hemi is found on the tenement (or both) then there is plenty of room for the share price to be well above A$8 a share.
