Sorry if I am late here, just catching up on the thread and I really don't want to join the argument here but..... No one???
NST and SAR, firstly wasn't a take over, it was a merger of equals that will propel them to a tier 1 miner.
They own 50% each of the Superpit and the two MD's are good mates. It was the most obvious nobrainer to anyone who knows anything about these two companies.
And I will bet my left one, I may have heard whispers, that they have take over targets in mind in the very near future (most likely not DEG though).
