This DEG takeover has to be seen as a slap in the face for GOR management …while they’ve been sitting on a passive stake in DEG, their exploration results very mediocre, and dividends beyond pathetic, other more switched on and nimble Goldies have been running circles around GOR. The question can’t be avoided any longer : is Management worth what we’re paying them ??? They need to lift their game, and if that’s beyond their powers, then lift their overfed behinds out of their boardroom chairs and just put up the For Sale sign for a more clever outfit to make their assets work.
