I think deg was over valued last year, it held up better than other gold stocks, this year people bought the more undervalued gold shares and deg declined even with gold going up, gold stocks just re balance themselves. Interest rates are a part of it, not majorly but investors will look to shares that benefit from lower rates, that is just an idea I made up for me to trigger buy, otherwise I don't know when to buy/sell.
