I have a lot of possible responses to your claims, but all I am prepared to say is that few if any HC readers will be voting so your recommendations are moot.
Also being an American and engaged in US politics doesn't make you the last word. I studied US Politics under a former Fulbright scholar so think I have a few clues as well. Grassroots is what got Obama elected, and Biden.
The issue is stability. If you imagine Trump is bringing that, you're delusional. He's very unpredictable. If you think he has any commitment to the preservation of the USD as world reserve currency think again, But regardless, gold does well in a chaotic environment.
On that much we can at least agree.
