If u invest in gold (miners), it is naive, lazy to not be involved in politics as gold is a very "political investment" Australia's fate/future is just a derivative of USA s future. Look at the spineless leadership here, only decisions to win the next election. Nothing constructive. There would be nothing better than 4 Musk to audit the usa government and then we hire him to audit the aussie government. 80% sacked. they can all go to tafe to follow a bricklaying course to solve the housing crisis. The salary we save will ge enough to build these houses. We need a good knowledgeable captain of industry to run the country for 10 years to get it back on the rails. (Democracy is expensive)
