re: cost of drilling Don't know the ins and outs of the drilling contract but $30 is also way off the mark.

Drilling engineer $1000+
company man $1000+
Night company man $1000+
Drilling engineer $1000+
Geologist $1000+
And now a red barron fishing hand and they are noy cheap.+ survey hands, cementers, loggers etc etc that is all on the operating side.
That is +5grand a day


Then the drilling side, OIM, toolpushers drillers etc.

Then equipement drill bit, statiblizers, surveying tools, BHA pipe, motors, mud and lots of it and then the rig.

I we could all get a rig for $30k a day we all would be doing it.

more like $200k 30k may just be the rig!
