I think you will find contrarian viewpoints welcome here unlike the circle jerks that happen in most HC forums. To date there is no evidence to suggest any cost blowouts on projects to date (with SA BlueLake expected to have now moved from construction phase to O & M), but we should get more information on that front if we do get an announcement on the 30th.
As for labour and maintenance they have had 6 years to study the pilot plant in W.A. as well as plants in the U.K that the founding director helped design/manage so one would hope they would have all their ducks in a row regarding estimated expenses. Only time will tell but I'm happy to accept that risk.
IMO you will struggle to find another RE company with this level of vertical integration, to help soften blows from these type of unexpected costs. The fact they have a profitable and growing retail business operating throughout construction phase is of big appeal to me.
