    macrae12 - Why would it not continue to trade? Its paying all its bills! Its not in breach on any of the ASX listing rules that we know of.

    The only reason it would go into a trading halt would be if they where close to finalizing some sort of long term arrangement.

    If I owed you money and was paying all the interest we had agreed on would you shut me down and take a 20% hit to your total amount I owed you? Or would you begrudgingly keep accepting my interest payments?

    Another thing to remember is the human factor. That being you will probabaly find that its the very people in the banks who lent centro the money in the first place who are currently negotiating the extention with centro. If these bankers pull the plug on centro they will also be pulling the plug on their careers.

    Causing a billion dollar loss for your employer does not look good on your resume!
