If you think that 17 million dollars worth of shares was all about 'traders' then I think that you're not rowing with both oars in the water. The size of the buys suggests institutional investment, and they will not be rattled by the delay (that is, if there IS a delay. News may be released earlier, right?
Traders will push the price around, but I do not believe that the "delay" is significant. If it were, it would be price-sensitive, and it would have been voluntarily disclosed. Just my view.
