Well, there we go, we did get news, but as I suspected, more delays. Ugh.
The well is already producing at 600 barrels per day though! That would have been a disappointing results, but even with the well operating at full swing it wouldn't have been a 100% dismal failure. It will be interesting to see how much it improves.
Does anyone know if the production over the next few weeks will heavily affect the IP rate after a frac? I would assume that much oil coming out for that long before the frac would bring about a significantly lower IP. Am I wrong, or perhaps completely misunderstanding things?
To me it still looks good in the long term, but I imagine this will upset many and turn them away, so there could be some good opportunities to top up or jump in over the next three weeks.
Delays delays... ugh.
