I think the more pressing issue is Malaysia needs China ti support its industries or maybe just mega projects and provide food security to China.
Palm oil is is not something they will backtrack on as it covers nearly the entire country when you fly into Malaysia. That won't be touched.
P.S Pringles is now made in malaysia with palm oil. Preferred it made from USA. Tastes better.
