I am surprised no one bother mentioning Putin having another 16 years of power but we do not do any business with then and they are a democracy. Neither is anyone commenting on Russian coercion when they annexed Crimea by any European nations. Throw in Malaysian airline downing and East Ukraine civil war, it is worth a mention at least by our PM of the day. I recall lots of armchair criticism but no collateral damage.
With China, it is a bit different and the current rhetoric has gone past language to policy. Anyone thinking the IO industry is safe from coercion should start thinking how indispensable can just as quickly vaporize. We better hope the Indians can fill the void or else we are phucked in slow motion.
