Yes BHPs strategy is quite commendable. After all they swim in money and can afford to make such investments.

The wisdom of our MD occasionally shines then it dims again. Where is the meat of the deal? What is the percentage? Is there a timeframe/ expiry for the deal should there be no activity???

Come on these are commerical dealings and BHP is looking to secure as much as it can for as little as possible. After they don't swim in money for no reason do they!
